Escondido, CA-based Erickson-Hall Construction Company has appointed Mat Gates, Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and LEED Accredited Professional, as President. Gates has been with the firm since 2004 and his appointment comes at a pivotal time as Erickson-Hall transitions ownership to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
Gates began his construction career in 1992 after graduating from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. At Erickson-Hall, he has risen through the ranks from a Project Manager to his new role as President, where he will develop talent, oversee company operations and create a culture that positions the company for expanding new business and sustained strategic growth.
