Levin Johnston Arranges $24M Sale of Hayward Multifamily Duo

Multifamily specialist Levin Johnston of Marcus & Millichap has completed the sale of two apartment communities in the East Bay city of Hayward, CA. The firm represented the buyer and seller in the $12 million sale of 41-unit Hayward Heights (pictured) and represented the buyer in the $11.6 million purchase of 45-unit Dixon Landing Apartments.

“Our team worked diligently to source and secure for the buyers two buildings in excellent locations that suit their investment strategies, while still satisfying the sellers’ price requirements,” said Levin Johnston’s Adam Levin, adding that Hayward is an outstanding market for multifamily investment.

Hayward Heights, located at 23972 2nd Street, has been newly renovated with new kitchens, bathrooms and hardwood flooring and features large decks and patios. Dixon Landing Apartments, located at 29371 Dixon Street, is in close proximity to major thoroughfares Mission Boulevard and Interstate 880, and within walking distance to BART and shopping centers.
