Six months after many A-list stars snubbed him at the Oscar pre-show following sexual harassment allegations, Ryan Seacrest has been removed from the red carpet for the Emmy Awards next Monday, can exclusively report.
In an announcement about E! ’s coverage for the prestigious annual awards honoring the best work in television, Seacrest’s name was noticeably absent from the lineup of reporters.

Kristin Cavallari , stylist Brad Goreski and The Real star Jeannie Mai will also handle hosting duties for the network.
A source exclusively told Radar that Seacrest, 43, “is still working at E! , but his duties have been dwindled down dramatically since the whole thing went down.”
“He is keeping a low profile until this whole storm blows over.”
As Radar reported in March, big names including Ashley Judd , Jennifer Lawrence , Meryl Streep , Margot Robbie , Saoirse Ronan and Emma Stone refused to stop to chat with Seacrest at the Oscars , just weeks after a former stylist accused him of sexual misconduct .

Seacrest vehemently denied any wrongdoing, claiming the woman was attempting to extort him . E! claimed there was “insufficient evidence” of any misconduct after an independent investigation.
Though he was cleared by the network, ratings of the Oscars coverage dropped 43% from the previous year, reports claimed.
A source exclusively told Radar after the fiasco, “the execs are in panic mode, and Ryan knows that they simply cannot afford to lose fans or ratings over this ! They are considering replacing him on the red carpet, at least for the near future.”
